POWDER BROWS/

ABOUT POWDER BROWS

Powder brows are a form of cosmetic tattooing that utilizes a permanent makeup machine to implant thousands of soft, pixel-like deposits of pigment beneath the skin. Rather than creating individual hair strokes, this technique builds a misty gradient of color that mimics the look of softly filled-in brows, resulting in a polished yet natural appearance.

Powder brows can be used to enhance existing eyebrow hair with added definition and density or to create the illusion of a complete brow for those experiencing partial or complete hair loss.

Powder brows are one of the most versatile permanent makeup techniques and are especially well suited for oily, porous, mature, and sensitive skin types. The soft layering approach allows for beautiful healed results with longevity in mind.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Bon Beauté’s conscious artist approach utilizes two appointments, separated by 6–8 weeks, to safely and intentionally build your permanent makeup in a way that is gentle to the skin and supportive of long-term results.

This phased approach allows us to closely study how your unique skin type heals and retains pigment, enabling us to make thoughtful adjustments to color, density, and saturation for the most refined and personalized outcome possible.

The process begins with a detailed consultation to discuss your desired shape, color, and overall aesthetic. Using advanced facial mapping techniques, your artist will design a brow shape that complements your natural features and creates visual harmony.

During the procedure, a specialized machine and fine needle configuration are used to implant pigment in soft, layered pixels. Color and depth are gradually built to create a beautifully diffused effect that can range from ultra-soft and subtle to more defined and makeup-inspired, depending on your preferences and skin characteristics.

Booking & Policy Notes

  • Appointment Preparation: Proper preparation plays an important role in both your comfort and your healed results. Please review our FAQs, pre-care instructions, and studio policies before your appointment to help ensure the most intentional experience possible.

  • Perfecting Session (Second Appointment): Your refinement appointment is typically completed 6–12 weeks after your initial procedure and is strongly recommended to be scheduled before leaving your first appointment.

  • Long-Term Maintenance: Most clients benefit from a maintenance appointment every 16–36 months, depending on skin type, lifestyle, pigment retention, and your desired level of definition.

  • Our Philosophy on Longevity: At Bon Beauté, we prioritize skin integrity and long-term flexibility over unnecessary saturation. To preserve the beauty of your brows over time, we generally recommend allowing previous work to fade to approximately 40–60% visible before scheduling a color boost. This measured approach helps minimize pigment buildup and supports more refined results for years to come.

  • Appointments Beyond Three Years: If it has been more than three years since your last appointment, or if your brows have faded significantly, your visit may be considered a new procedure and priced accordingly.

  • Rescheduling & Cancellations: We kindly request at least 72 hours’ notice for any cancellation or reschedule. Changes made with less notice may incur a $35 rebooking fee.

  • Booking Deposits: A non-refundable booking deposit is required to reserve all appointments and is applied toward your final balance.

  • Quiet Appointments: In some cases, your artist may recommend a focused, low-conversation appointment environment to support concentration and artistic precision. You are welcome to bring headphones and enjoy music or a podcast during your visit.
